3/4 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 3/4 cups flour
Seedless blackberry preserves

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine butter, sugar, and vanilla in bowl. In a separate bowl, combine salt and flour. Gradually add flour mixture to wet mixture, until dough is crumbly. Next take tablespoons full of dough and mold into balls with fingers. Place in cookie sheet. With knuckle, press a well in center of cookies and fill with preserves. Bake in oven for 10-15 minutes. Allow cookies to cool completely before removing from baking sheet.
