This simple sewing craft was inspired by the miraculous Castillian roses that St. Juan Diego found growing in Guadalupe. Fasten the roses to a pair of stud earring backs, some napkin rings, or a headband for a simple reminder of Our Lady of Guadalupe’s help and guidance.

Tools:
Sewing machine
Zig zag ribbon
Hot glue gun

Directions:
Cut 18 inch strands of ribbon. Fold in half and make sure that the zig zags fit inside one another (as shown in picture). Sew strand down the middle. Curl up the ribbon in the shape of a rose, adding a few drops of hot glue along the way to keep the petals held fast.
